In the following article I describe how to enable Egit for Zend Studio.
To enable it in Zend Studio simply
- Start Zend Studio
- Open menu Help > Install New Software…
- Click Add…
- enter repository
- name: Jgit & Egit
- location: http://www.jgit.org/updates/
- select Eclipse Egit (Incubation)
- Click Next >
After installation you are able to add a Git perspective:
- Window > Open Perspective > Other…
After this, the Git Repository perspective is only 1 click away:
